Eighteen interior designers will completely transform each room in the historic Etowah Hagan-Jackson House at 4511 Bay Shore Road in Sarasota for the 24th Annual Jewels on the Bay Designer Showhouse. Built in the mid-1920s, this two-story Mediterranean Revival residence will be open to the public from January 20 to February 17. Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County, and provide more than 7,000 youth with award-winning programs to help them achieve their full potential.

The Etowah Hagan-Jackson House is on the list of Sarasota’s locally historically designated properties. The original owner, Atlantan Lee Hagan, named the it after the Etowah River in north Georgia, and built it as his winter residence. While the home has been in disrepair for many years, it will undergo a cosmetic renovation, and feature the latest interior decor trends.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the house by cash or check only, or ahead of time online at designershowhousesarasota.com, at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County’s Administrative Office at 3130 Fruitville Road or at Bee Ridge Lighting & Design at 3909 Bee Ridge Road.
