Buffalo Wild Wings Community Day set for April 18

On Wednesday, April 18, three local Buffalo Wild Wings® restaurants will show its support for three of our Boys & Girls Clubs locations through Community Day, an annual celebration that raises funds for local kids and teens as part of the Buffalo Wild Wings Team Up for Kids® mission. Ten percent of total restaurant sales and 100 percent of guest donations on April 18 will be donated to our Clubs to support our youth programs! The following restaurant locations will support the corresponding Boys & Girls Club location:

  • Buffalo Wild Wings at 4067 Clark Road, Sarasota, FL, will support the Roy McBean Boys & Girls Club;
  • Buffalo Wild Wings at 5235 University Parkway, University Park, FL, will support the Roy McBean Boys & Girls Club; and
  • Buffalo Wild Wings at 18379 Tamiami Trail, North Port, FL, will support the Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club.

As part of Buffalo Wild Wings’ (B-Dubs) national commitment to Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), Community Day is a celebration at participating B-Dubs restaurants across the country, honoring the company’s commitment to our nation’s kids and teens. B-Dubs has committed a $2 million minimum guaranteed donation to BGCA through 2020. With the success of its fundraising efforts to date, B-Dubs will donate more than $20 million by 2020!

Now in its sixth year, Buffalo Wild Wings’ Team Up for Kids mission and partnership with BGCA supports youth sports through ALL STARS grants for flag or tackle football, basketball, soccer, cheer, step and dance teams at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.

We hope you can join us at one of the supporting Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants and support our Clubs on April 18! For more information, contact Tanya Orr, Community Engagement Manager, at 941-366-3911 or torr@bgcsarasota.com.
